Rasperry Tofu Pudding ~ 628 Calories
Total: 1710 Calories

Another day of massive over indulgence and I don’t even have the excuse of relay for life, I had better break this habit NOW.

4/17/09 Food Diary

Morning:

Early Afternoon:
Plate of Banquet Food ~ 400 Calories
Evening:
Healthy Choice Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Cafe Streamer ~ 250 Calories
Strawberry Flavored tofu “Pudding ~ 230 Calories
Midnight Snack:
Carrots and Dip ~ 300
Total Calories: 1490 Calories

The plate of banquet food is suspicious but it is simply an estimate. I exercised portion control and I think that what I actually ate was less than 400 calories. I took a couple steps back tonight too, I got hungry and munched down some carrots and dip, so I am bit pissed at myself. The scale will say how much damage I did tomorrow.

Noon:
Subway 6″ Roast Beef Sub ~ 290 Calories
Late-Afternoon:
Special K bar thing ~90 calories
Evening:
Healthy Choice Beef Merlot Cafe Steamer ~ 240 calories
Orange tofu “pudding” ~ 230 calories
Total: 1170 calories

I ate more today than yesterday but I also walked around much much more, going here and there in the process of getting previously mentioned monkeys off my back and then going back again when I realize I left something behind… oops. Anyways it would not do to have too many days like yesterday in terms of caloric intake, my body might decide to activate starvation protection or something.

Well, I am doing something that I have semi-sworn not to do. I am starting a blog. May any deities observing have mercy upon me.

I am starting this blog for a variety of reasons. One reason is that I like to rant on a number of topics, physics, mathematics, things I find amusing, life in grad school, various frustrations, and life in general. My other reason is that I am currently attempting to loose weight, and with any luck this will be another check, using my pride to force me not to fail.

To the few people who will read my blog, I ask that nasty comments and flame-wars be avoided I don’t really want to have to deal with that stuff.

For a first post I suppose that wraps it up.
